Welcome to Olaf Greve's site about Japanese ammunition!
On this website you will find detailed information about military Japanese ammunition in the calibres of 12.7mm and bigger. Apart from 'regular' ammunition (i.e. casings + projectiles), mortar rounds and bomb fuses are also listed.
This website is the culmination of my collecting and studying efforts of this uncommon line of ammunition. Not only will you find general information, as it is listed in reference material, but also you will find detailed pictures and descriptions of specimens from my own collection. Some of the pictures have been taken from other people's collections and/or from the internet. Where appropriate, everything has been accredited.
Note: You are not required to request a log in for accessing the content on this site. All pages are publicly viewable, with exception of the discussion forums. Participating in those is only possibe if you are a registered member. Registering is fully free of charge and takes very little time, so you are all encouraged to do so. You can request a log in from the "Request account" page that appears under the "Members" menu.
Also: notification of major updates to the site, as well as other particularly noteworthy information and/or events are all published on the "Updates and news" page under the "Home" menu. Make sure to check that page from time to time, to find out what is going on at the site, and what new content has been added.
Finally, please note that I have chosen to directly show all pages that are anticipated at present, as far as I have gotten in entering them. This means that there are quite a few pages (and even some complete menus) that are already shown as menu items, but which are yet to be filled. When you open a page that only shows a completely white page, or a title alone, please know that this is not due to an error in the website, but rather, it means that specific page is still to be filled. It is a lot of work to completely fill each of the pages, so please check back from time to time, and as time progresses, more and more should be filled.
